Tibbot 1844 in Ebensburg, Cambria Co, Pennsylvania. She was born Abt. 1802, and died 15 Jul 1880 in Sharon Center, Johnson Co, Iowa. She was the daughter of John Tibbot and Mary ?.
Richard and Elizabeth (Tibbot) were buried in the Welsh Cemetery, Johnson Co, Iowa.

Richard Tudor has died, Old Man's Creek, Iowa, Nov. 14 at age 77. Son of Richard and Ann Tudor, of Rhos y Gareg (Moor of Stone), parish of Penegos, Montgomery. Little is known about his early history but he lived with his father in-law for four years. Then he went to live at Lwyn y Gronfa (Tree Grave at Pond/Weir/...) in the parish Penegos. He and his wife, 8 children, of whom five are alive.
In fl. 1832, he and his family came to America, to Ebensburg, Pa., where he remained living and working diligently for 12 years. His wife died there about 6 years ago. Within 3 years he married Elizabeth Williams from the same place - living with him until his death, and who gave him relief.

EDWARD TUDOR, a resident of Iowa City, and interested in the
pork packing-house, and other public enterprises in the city; was born
March 6, 1825, in Wales; settled in Johnson county, Iowa, in April,
1845, on Old Man's Creek; has been engaged in farming and stock-rais-
ing. He was married September 16, 1863, to Miss Elizabeth Baxter, of
Sharon township. They have four children: Mary J., Elizabeth Ruth,
wife of Evan Rowland of Union township; Cyrus and Richard B. He is
a republican in politics, and a member of the board of supervisors of John-
son county in 1869; has been trustee of township, and secretary of the
school board. He is a stockholder and one of the directors of the pack-
ing-house in Iowa City. He is a member of the Congreagational Church
on Old Man's Creek.
