Cambria Co, PA Census Information for Tudor's and Baxter's

A Hugh Tudor family can be found in the 1820 & 1830 censuses. Perhaps an uncle of Richard.

The Hugh Tudor household consisted of 2 males (aged: to 10, 26-45) and 3 females (2 aged to 10, 16-26, ).  One foreign person, not naturalized.

The Hugh Tudor household consisted of 3 males (aged: under 5, 10-15, 40-50), 4 females (aged: under 5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20).

The 1840 census shows the Richard Tudor family. The elder Hugh is also found here. I haven't looked at the actual census but the transcript shows Hugh and Richard enumerated next to each other.

Richard's household consisted of 4 males (aged: 10-15, 15-20, 20-30 and 40-50) and 4 females (3 aged 10-15, 1 aged 20-30).  The occupations of 3 were in Agr.
Their ages at the time fit, except mother Elizabeth: Edward 15, Richard 17, Hugh 22, Richard 48; Margaret (Mary) 10, Elizabeth 10, Ann 13, Elizabeth 53[?].

Hugh's household consisted of 2 males (aged 15-20 and 50-60) and 3 females (10-15, 20-30, 20-30).  The occupations of 2 were Agr.  One of the household members over 20 was illiterate.

The 1850 census shows only the Baxter family.  The Tudors moved to Johnson Co, Iowa several years earlier.
